The storms lasted all night and it’s still raining when we get up.  It keeps stopping and starting so we quickly pack during a dry spell and get going.  We haven’t had time for breakfast and we don’t expect to find anywhere to eat until mid-morning.  However, luck is with us as we see a drive-in café called the Max+Muh, no idea why, but we got a full breakfast so we were happy.

Our joy didn’t last long though, as shortly after setting off the heavens opened and the rain poured down.  We managed to keep fairly dry by sheltering under trees and buildings as the heaviest rain fell, but eventually we got a bit fed up and when we saw a nice looking hotel right by the cycle path we decide to call it a day.  We had hoped to reach Austria today, but never mind, tomorrow will do.  Let’s hope it’s dry.
