After a quick drive along the route that we will need to take tomorrow on the bikes in an effort to prevent us from doing more unnecessary loops of the city, we have a great time looking around some of the famous landmarks of Bristol; the river Avon gorge, the suspension bridge and the impressive examples of Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture, homes of the wealthy past and present. We catch up on each other’s news, discuss future possible cycling trips and eat too many of Anne’s home-baked cakes – good job we’re back on the bikes tomorrow to work off some calories.
