Today is not so overcast, but there is an extremely gusty wind.  It either blows us across the road or it stops blowing so suddenly that we nearly fall off as we are leaning hard against it.  We realise that it is dangerous and have to get off the bikes and walk them more than 5 km to the next village.  The terrain is flat and fairly uninteresting – this is one of those days when you wonder when the amount of effort required is worth the little enjoyment you get back.

We decide we need a break and battle our way against the wind to the next village with a camp-site.
