We set off up out of the valley, which is a steady climb – not as bad as I thought it might be and start off on our route to the south that will take us out of Luxembourg, briefly through a bit of Belgium and on into France.  However, within a few kilometres we come upon a lovely village in a gorge, on the bend of a river, which looks too good to miss.  So we stop, spot a camp-site and decide to stay a day.
