After the awful weather yesterday, we had decided overnight that if it was no better today we would head straight for Harwich to catch the ferry to Holland.  However, the morning dawns bright and beautiful – all blue skies and sunshine.  So, we stick to our original plan to head for Woodbridge – a place we both want to visit and, perhaps, spend an extra day there.

We´ve left the fens behind and are now cycling through a lovely area of woodland around Thetford.  We start to wend our way along tiny country lanes through charming Suffolk villages of typical flint cottages.  We sit outside a country pub for a quick drink in the sunshine – it really couldn´t be a greater contrast with yesterday.
