It takes us 18 km to get to St Malo, even though it is only 10 km away, because we need to avoid the really hectic main roads.

When we arrive in the ferry port we have missed the ferry by 20 minutes, so we book the 10.30am sailing tomorrow morning.

We spend our time looking around St Malo, which is a really interesting old, fortified port.  The sun has come out again and we are looking forward to sailing to the UK tomorrow.  I spend an hour or two updating the journal in McDonalds (the most reliable source of WiFi in France).
