Day 29 – Machecoul to Guémené-Penfao – 90 kms

005

April 30, 2011

We are chased by a thundercloud all day.  In front of us looks bright and sunny but behind is as black as night.  We keep hearing the thunder but we keep going and, amazingly, we don’t get wet.

The area is a bit like Norfolk – very green with rivers and lakes – gently undulating, making it very pleasant cycling countryside.

Of course, when we stop at a camp-site the thunderstorm catches up with us; but we do manage to get the tent up before the rain comes hammering down.
